Day 6: Cucumber salad

Yesterday (Wednesday) was a nice relaxing day, but doesn’t make for much of a blog post! Oh well, in the interests of keeping on track with this detox, here goes:

Breakfast: Banana chia smoothie (I’ve been making it on almond milk)

Lunch: 100g dry-fried baked organic tempeh, followed by a cucumber salad:

  • 1 lebanese cucumber, sliced about 1cm thick and halved
  • 1/2 – 2/3 tsp tahini
  • Less than 1/2 tsp natural honey
  • 1 tsp boiling water
  • Small handful of fresh coriander

Simply mix the tahini, honey and very hot water in a bowl to form a dressing with with consistency. Add the cucumber and coriander, and wah-lah! It’s about 42 calories (depending on how much tahini you add) and it’s quick and tasty.

Dinner: Pizza (yep… but at least I chose the least-calorie, least-fat / grease, least volume option!). I only went over my goal by about 180 cal (total 1386) so I don’t feel too bad.

Snacks: A kiwi fruit and 8 button mushrooms.

Alcohol: None.

Exercise: None – I’ve skipped yoga for a few days now :-/ .

Meds, supps and makeup: No meds, all supps and no makeup.
